Shishapangma is an excellent peak above 8000 meters located in Tibet/China. This mountain remained unknown until China opened Tibet to foreigners in 1978. It is 8012m high above the sea level. The North West normal route to Shishapangma is the original route and was followed by the first western expedition of the year 1980, takes us up easy angled snow slopes up to 35 degrees with one steeper section. The necessary lines will also be fixed and placed on the steeper or crevassed sections. Gentle nature of ascent and reasonable time-frame to climb have made Shishapangma expedition most satisfying climbing that lead to summit 8014 m tall peak.

We have designed a forty-three days Shishapangma expedition package that includes 6 nights stay in Kathmandu. You will drive to Shishapangma Base Camp from Kathmandu via Kyirung border and return back following the same route.  We have assigned 25 days for the summit of Shishapangma Mountain from Advance Base Camp and descend back.

Nepal Environmental Treks & Expedition organizes Shishapangma expedition every year in spring season that includes March, April and May. We are fully authorized and capable to organize all types of expeditions in the Himalayas. Our competent team, professional arrangements, safety measures and mountaineering expertise are crucial reasons why we are best in expedition arrangements.
